Vapor IO Joins Open Data Center Alliance to Accelerate the Development of Non-Proprietary Data Center Technologies

Vapor IO will lend its expertise in open source data center solutions to help further the growth of a new data center ecosystem

AUSTIN, Texas & PORTLAND, Ore.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Vapor IO, provider of the world’s first intelligent, hyper modular data center solution, and Open Data Center Alliance (ODCA), the global organization dedicated to advancing the adoption of interoperable solutions and services for cloud computing, today announced that Vapor IO, has joined the ODCA.With its fresh perspective and goal of modernizing today’s data centers, Vapor IO will complement the ODCA by helping to advance new universal requirements for the data center marketplace. Vapor IO’s expertise in developing open source platforms/solutions with which vendors can create innovative new data center infrastructure solutions, will support the ODCA’s goal of speeding the migration to cloud computing through a global ecosystem built on openness and interoperability.
